M.SuhasiniM.Suhasini is an alumnus of Kalakshetra and continues her advanced training under Professor C.V.Chandrasekhar. A sensitive and expressive dancer, she has worked with CCA in its productions Living Tree and Silappadhikaaram. She is an active member of "Samskrita Ranga" a Sanskrit Theatre organization. She has performed in several parts of India with her Guru and has also worked with other leading choreographers and dancers.


Anusha NatarajanAnusha Natarajan is a disciple of the Dhananjayans and is well known as an excellent exponent of Bharata Natyam. She is the wife of Narendra Kumar and they are gaining a reputation as a skilled dancing couple. She is a teacher in their school "Anusham" and they also work with dancers in the US conducting classical dance workshops and assisting in choreography. She won audience appreciation and critical acclaim for her performance in Living Tree. She is also earning a name as a fine visual artist.

Seetha SasidharanSeetha Sasidharan is a graduate of Kalakshetra and has participated in several of their productions. She had her advanced training with the Dhananjayans. She has now established herself as a senior Bharata Natyam performer and teacher in Kerala. She has received critical acclaim for the purity of her dancing and is the recipient of several awards for excellence in dance. She has traveled to the US, Reunion etc. as a senior member of the Bharata Kalanjali company.


Krishnakshi SharmaKrishnakshi Sharma is a disciple of the Dhananjayans and is also a staff member of their institution, Bharata Kalanjali. She has studied Manipuri and Kathak, dance forms from North India. She has performed in India and abroad, both in group and solo performances. She is an elegant dancer and received critical acclaim in both CCA productions, Living Tree and Silappadhikaaram. She continues to be an integral part of CCA's dance "family".


SwarnaSwarna is a graduate of Kalakshetra and has participated in several of their dance dramas. She is now under the advanced training of Prof. C.V.Chandrasekhar. She has performed in India and abroad with her Guru and has also taken part in dance festivals. She was most recently seen in the US in CCA's production, Silappadhikaaram.


GopukiranGopukiran is a disciple of the Dhananjayans. He performs with them in their productions and has traveled with them to South Africa and to the Middle East.


MadhusudhananK.B.Madhusudhanan is a graduate of Kalakshetra and has performed in several of their productions. He has worked with the nation's leading artistes and dance companies.
His critically praised work has taken him all over India as well as Sri Lanka, Ghana, Dubai and the US. He is well versed in the South Indian martial arts of Kalaripayyattu and Silambam. He performed with CCA in its most recent production, Silappadhikaaram.


Narendra KumarNarendra Kumar is an early student of the Dhananjayans. He has earned a name for himself as a skilled Bharata Natyam dancer and choreographer. Eager to explore different dimensions in dance, he has studied martial arts such as Kalaripayyattu, Silambam and Tai-Chi. He has his dance establishment Anusham and is a teacher, choreographer and performer, along with his wife Anusha. He travels to the US often to work with dancers/choreographers and to aid them in their productions.

Renjith BabuRenjith Babu is a graduate of Kalakshetra. He was awarded the "Outstanding Artist of the Year" award by the Government of India. He joined "Kalapradarshini" as a lecturer and has choreographed numerous dance productions. He teaches Yoga and is proficient in the ancient martial art of Kerala, Kalaripayyattu and in Nattuvangam. He is also an occasional percussionist. He performed in CCA's productions Living Tree and Silappadhikaaram. He works with choreographers and dancers in the US, assisting in choreography.

ThiruchelwamT.K.Thiruchelwam is a graduate of Bharata Natyam from Kalakshetra, "Thiru" has played lead roles in many of its dance dramas. He has worked with well known dancers and dance companies in India as well as in countries such as USA, UK, Mauritius etc. He has participated in the Indian festival in Ghana and also assisted US dance companies in choreography. Thiru is a performer, choreographer and teacher. He has worked with CCA in its productions, Living Tree and Silappadhikaaram and continues to be an integral part of the CCA family.

VenkatakrishnanM.Venkatakrishnan is a disciple of the Dhananjayans. He is skilled in Bharata Natyam and now works as a teacher at the Dhananjayans' academy, Bharata Kalanjali. He has performed in several of their productions and is appreciated as a strong and sensitive dancer.


Nambu KumarTechnical Support
K. Nambu Kumar is the stage manager and technical director for this production. He has worked with CCA in its past production, Silappadhikaaram. He has worked with the Dhananjayans on their productions and most recently, was the stage manager for the Kalakshetra dance company tour of Reunion. He is skilled both in lighting and sound requirements for a classical Indian dance presentation and familiar with theatres in North America. He is a busy technical assistant for various leading dancers and dance companies in Chennai.
