Imagination, visual impact and contemporary ideas form an intrinsic part of CCA's Meghadootam. From the start, Shijith Nambiar and Parvathy Menon were the first and only choice of choreographers for the production.

Trained at the prestigious arts institution in Chennai, Kalakshetra, they are seasoned artistes, skilled in the dance form of Bharata Natyam. The couple has been invited more than once to perform at the prestigious Music Academy in Chennai. Shijith toured North America as the lead dancer in CCA's production, Silappadhikaaram, a story of women of substance in 2004. Together, Shijith and Parvathy have toured North America also with their group work, Krishna.

They have performed in Europe and participated as faculty at Dance UK along with Leela Samson and Priyadarshini Govind.

The Hindu in referring to Shijith and Parvathy's 'sophistication of choreography' speaks of their 'exuberance' and ability to blend ' interpretive, dramatic and narrative elements' resulting in 'feats of skill', and studies in 'artistic restraint and aesthetics'.

Shijith and Parvathy now bring this formidable reputation to bear upon the music, as imagined by Bombay Jayashri, for Meghadootam.
